Community Forum Two information
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us for Community Forum Two on Tuesday, 3 December 2024.
We truly appreciate the time, energy, and input you brought to the event. Your voices are vital to our journey toward becoming a better neighbour, and the insights you shared help us focus our actions on what matters most to our community.

How we spread the word
To inform as many residents we could about this forum, we used multiple communication channels, including:
- Email invitations to our community and newsletter list
- Two targeted Facebook campaigns
- Posts shared directly with the online community forum Buzz in Beeliar
- Advertisements in the Cockburn and Fremantle Gazettes, including prominent half-page placements.
- Hand-delivered postcards to 2,000 homes in high-interest areas around Beeliar.
- Updates posted on our website, which serves as a central source of information for upcoming events and community news.
How we’re listening to you
We know that rebuilding trust with the community is a long road and will require action, not just words. We are committed to earning that trust by being transparent, listening to your concerns, and demonstrating meaningful progress on the issues that matter most to you.
We have already acted on some of your feedback. We are reviewing ways to enhance how we advertise and communicate future forums, based on your recommendations. We want to ensure that the process is as inclusive and accessible as possible, and your ideas are shaping that improvement.
In response to requests from the community, we are also committed to securing greater representation from other relevant organisations at future forums.
What’s next?
We’re already preparing for Community Forum Three, which will take place in February/March 2025.
