CCL dives in to support the Coogee Jetty to Jetty Swim

Cockburn Cement is proud to once again sponsor the Cockburn Masters annual Coogee Jetty to Jetty swim, which saw over 1,350 swimmers participate in 2025.

Our Cockburn Cement team joined the fun, diving straight into this wonderful community event. Ten of our employees took part in a mix of 750m and 1500m races.

A special highlight was Charles Jenner, aged 96, who swam 750m in 23m 45s and was awarded the Laurie Taylor Medal of Encouragement & Inspiration!

A big thank you to the Cockburn Masters Swimming Club and the over 100 volunteers who gave their time to ensure a safe and enjoyable event. The kids even got a visit from the local mermaid!

Next year marks the 30th anniversary of the Coogee Jetty to Jetty swim, and we look forward to continuing our support for this fantastic community event!
